woulda been funny

whitewood says, ''i think this project has run its course.'' starling appears in frame. he says, ''you just imagined drawing yourself pulling out a gun and shooting yourself in the head.'' whitewood answers, ''yeah.'' starling says, ''you understand why that's a bad idea?'' whitewood sighs and says, ''yes.'' there is a pause. whitewood rests his head listlessly on his hand, avoiding eye contact with starling who is staring intently at him. eventually, he says, ''it would have been funny,'' and starling yells at him, ''NO IT WOULDN'T!''
